Cancer and Exercise

Cancer and exercise

Exercise is beneficial for most people withย cancerย with little risk of harm and side effects (Cancer Council NSW). Cancer treatment causes a range of side effects such as fatigue and nausea, many of which can be reduced or eliminated with exercise.

Thatโ€™s whyย MetroRehabย Hospital is offering a Cancerย Rehabย Day Program for people going through chemo and/or radiotherapy or for those who have completed treatment and havenโ€™t bounced back as expected.

Find out some of the benefits of exercise during cancer treatment on the latestย Catalystย episode.

To find out information about our Cancer Rehab Day Program contact the Allied Health Manager on 0298585 4900.
