After a major illness or surgery, it’s common to have issues with pain, weight gain, and functionality. Exercise physiology is tailor-made specifically for those who have overcome major trauma or post-operative surgery, or for those with neurological conditions like multiple sclerosis, a brain injury, or following a stroke, to get their bodies moving and to achieve personal and health related goals.
Exercise physiology is an allied health discipline based on the benefits of exercise which can improve and restore general health and wellbeing following injury, illness, or surgery.
