Hydrotherapy helps take exercise to new heights, using the properties of water and its thermal effects to boost strength and improve mobility. Hydrotherapy is perfect for those with chronic conditions like arthritis, or for those recovering from illness or injury, as well as for some neurological conditions.
Hydrotherapy helps to build strength and improve your range of movement and function. The unique properties of water, the decreased effect of gravity and the effects of buoyancy, can assist with recovery after surgery and managing musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.
Hydrotherapy relies on the thermal effects of water to induce healing and recovery. It takes advantage of the body’s reaction to warm water, creating sensations that stimulate the immune system and influence the release of stress hormones and improving digestion, circulation, blood flow and reducing pain.
The heated hydrotherapy pool is in a comfortable air-conditioned environment and used for both individual and group therapy sessions. You may begin with simple movements in the water and build up to water exercise classes or deep water running. With our highly trained team, you will be amazed at the progress you make.
