About the role.. 

Exciting opportunity for enthusiastic Registered Nurses to join our dynamic team in Petersham. You will be responsible for caring for and assisting patients in their rehabilitation treatment and supervising the activities of the Enrolled Nurses and Assistants in Nursing with their nursing care.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing patient care within the inpatient rehabilitation setting.
  • Promoting the development of therapeutic relationships with the aim of facilitating the patient's rehabilitation goals.
  • Supporting the objectives and philosophy of the hospital.
  • Contributing to the person's rehabilitation goals in accordance with Royal Rehab Private Petersham Hospital's vision, purpose and values.

 

About you.. 

We are seeking self-motivated, driven and friendly individuals passionate about supporting patients with respect, compassion and dignity.

Essential criteria:

  • AHPRA registration and 1 year post graduate experience.
  • Previous Rehabilitation /surgical/ medical/ experience.
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills.
  • Commitment to quality improvement, practice development and evidence-based practice.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
